Autopsy results show Angela Perdue died of Blunt Force Trauma

5.01.2012 <br> According to the Jefferson County Medical Examiners office, 24-year-old Perdue’s cause of death was cerebral avulsion, due to blunt force trauma.

Autopsy results have been released in the Angela Perdue case.

According to the Jefferson County Medical Examiners office, 24-year-old Perdue’s cause of death was cerebral avulsion, due to blunt force trauma.

On April 29th, Ms. Perdue was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 24-year-old John C. Preston. As the vehicle was traveling in the 900 block of Mill Street, Ms. Perdue exited the vehicle and struck the pavement, causing blunt force trauma to the head.

Ms. Perdue was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time the City of Watertown Police Department is continuing their investigation into the cause of Ms. Perdue’s exiting the vehicle.
