Man uses deceased brothers ID to steal car from dealership

A Dexter man has been arrested after using the identification of his deceased brother to steal a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr.

Watertown Police arrested Robert A. Love, 29, of County Route 53, and charged him with Grand Larceny in the 3rd and Identity Theft in the 1st.

According to police documents, Love presented himself as this deceased brother, Randy Love, providing Pennsylvania drivers license to Motors N More in order to test drive a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr, valued at $13,000.

Love presented his deceased brothers identification due to outstanding warrants in the City of Watertown.

Police arrested Love and transported him from the W. Carthage Police station to the Public Safety Building in Watertown where he was processed and held pending arraignment.
