Unless your goal is a trip to the police station, it’s not a good idea to cuss at cops. That was a lesson learned by a Watertown man Monday night.
Watertown police were called to the residence of 41-year-old Joel A. Pilon at 644 Emerson Street at about 10:00 p.m. Officers say they found Pilon impaired by alcohol.
According to information in the WPD arrest report, Pilon is accused of screaming, yelling and swearing at the officers.
When informed he was under arrest, Pilon dropped to the ground and kept one arm under his body in an attempt to avoid being taken into custody, police said.
Pilon was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.
Following processing at the PSB, Pilon posted $500 bail and was released with an appearance ticket for City of Watertown Court on May 15th.
