SU Salutes Soldiers; Service Members From Ft. Drum Get Free Admission To Football Game

All military personnel who want to attend the Orange football game against Louisville on Saturday, November 10th are invited to present their military identification at the Carrier Dome to receive two complimentary tickets for the game.
(SU ATHLETICS ) - Due to the fantastic response from our fans, the Syracuse Athletics 'Salute a Soldier' program will be able to accommodate all military personnel who want to attend the Orange football game against #11/10 Louisville on Saturday, November 10 (12:00 p.m., WWTI-ABC50). Any member of the military is invited to present their military identification at the Carrier Dome ticket booths located at Gates A, B, C and E to receive two complimentary tickets for the game.

All fans are encouraged to arrive early to the Dome to celebrate the Orange senior class of 2012 prior to kickoff (ceremony will begin at 11:40 am).

The 'Salute A Soldier' program donates tickets to soldiers and their families for every ticket purchased between now and November 9 in an effort to say 'Thank You' to our soldiers and their families. As a result of this program, tickets have already been distributed to Fort Drum, the 174th Fighter Wing and other local military units. Groups purchasing tickets receive additional benefits at various levels, including autographed posters and footballs, and pre-game field passes. Local organizations or groups of fans are encouraged to participate at any level by calling the Carrier Dome Box Office or the Syracuse Group Sales Department (1-888-DOMETIX).

In its second year, the 'Salute A Soldier' program is sponsored by Syracuse University Athletics.
