Specialist with the 10th Mountain Division arrested for breaking into adult store and head shop

3.13.2012 <br> On Tuesday at approximately 12:15 a.m., an alarm sounded at the High Life, an adult store located on Route 11 in the Town of Pamelia.

A Specialist with the 10th Mountain Division has been arrested on a felony counts after breaking into an adult specialty store and head shop in Watertown.

Specialist Sheamus C. Broderick, 22, 3rd Battalion, 6th Field Artillery, 1st Brigade Combat Team, was arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with Burglary in the 3rd, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th, and Criminal Mischief in the 3rd, all Felony charges.

On Tuesday at approximately 12:15 a.m., an alarm sounded at the High Life, an adult store located on Route 11 in the Town of Pamelia. Sheriff’s deputies learned that Specialist Broderick had used a metal pole to break out the office window of the store, causing approximately $300 in damage.

Deputies later apprehended Sepcialist Broderick attempting to break into Trip on the Wild Side, a head shop located on Mill Street in Watertown.  

Specialist Sheamus also was in possession of a stolen 1995 Dodge pick-up truck with a South Carolina registration. The truck was reported stolen earlier by Daniel W. Robinson.

At this time Specialist Sheamus is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

Additional charges are pending with the Watertown City Police.
