This week we are featuring Timber the Terrier and Shepherd mix, Lucy the St. Bernard and Lab mix, and two cats, Emmy and Joeanna. Check out the slideshow for pictures and more info.
All of the dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on their vaccinations. They come with a starter bag of food and a free vet exam within the first 15 days after adoption. Timber is a four-year-old, male Terrier and Shepherd mix. He is tan with a long coat, and medium in size – about 35 lbs. Timber is sweet and a little bit timid, with a moderate energy level. He is house-broken, can sit & stay, and walk on a leash. His family had to give him up because they could no longer afford him. Timber will do well in with any loving family, and could even be an apartment dog.
Lucy is a 3-year-old female St. Bernard and Yellow Lab mix. Lucy has a short tan & brown coat, and is large in size- well over a 100lbs. She is housebroken and can sit, and has a low energy level, despite her big size. Lucy likes to play with toys, but also likes to cuddle and nap. Her owner had to give her up because they had too many animals. Lucy will do well in a home with children who will love and play with her.
Emmy is a 3-year-old domestic, short-haired, female cat. She is black with white on her chest. Despite her very loving and affectionate personality, she has been at the shelter longer than any other animal there- since April of 2011. Emmy would love to find a family before she comes up on the year mark, so stop in and meet her today!
Joeanna is a 6-year-old domestic, medium-haired female cat. She is all black and has a sweet personality. Joeanna has found as a stray, and has been at the shelter since November. She does well with children and other animals, and will be a great addition to any family.
