‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ to hit Alexandria Bay Stage

11.07.2011 <br> This year’s show features students ranging from fourth grade to this years senior class, in their rendition of Andrew Loyd Weber’s Jesus Christ Superstar.

A group of 55 students from Alexandria Central School are preparing for this years school play.

This year’s show features students in grades ranging from fourth to this years senior class, in their rendition of Andrew Loyd Weber’s Jesus Christ Superstar. The students will also be joined by faculty and alumni.

Jesus Christ Superstar will hit the Alexandria Bay Central School’s stage on November 17th through the 19th starting at 7 p.m., with a cost of only $5 for admission. Tickets can be purchased by contacting the main office, or at the door.

Katie Taylor, music teacher and play director, says that each year the money raised from ticket sales circulates back into a fund to keep the performances going annually.
