City Police Find Drugs, Guns And An Ex-Con In Raid On Olive St. Home

A raid on Olive St. by Watertown City Police Tuesday night led to the arrest of an ex-convict. Twenty nine year old Michael Moyer is facing counts of of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third degree criminal possession of a weapon, obstructing governmental administration, and violating probation. Police allege he was in possession of a .22 caliber revolver and cocaine at his home at 533 Olive St. The raid was believed to be part of the investigation into last weekend's shooting incident on Clay St. but Moyer is not a suspect in that crime at this time. He was convicted for a 2004 shooting incident on Winslow St. in Watertown and was released from state prison in 2009.
