EJ Noble Hospital closes 2 satelite clinics

Nathan Lehman (WTNY) - The two clinics to be closed are in Harrisville and Russell.
Gouverneur (WTNY) -- The financially troubled E.J. Noble Hospital in Gouverneur has decided to close two satellite clinics.

The two clinics to be closed are in Harrisville and Russell. The hospital has had a host of financial problems since the State Health Department shut down it's lab last fall, leading to a decrease in services. The lab has since been partially reopened under the supervision of Samaritan Medical Center, but some services remain unavailable. Canton-Potsdam Hospital is currently running E.J. Noble.

The Russell clinic has actually been closed for the past several months after a nurse practitioner there took another job elsewhere.
