Bronx man arrested twice in same day in Canton

Wednesday was a bad day for a 23-year-old Bronx man in the village of Canton.

Police arrested Jason Roche twice in the same day on the same charge. Roche was first picked up by police for failing to stop while exiting a parking lot. He was charged with several infractions, including unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and possession of another person's drivers license.

While in custody, video surveillance indicated Roche was the one who kicked and shattered a glass door at the Canton Municipal Building earlier that morning.

After being arraigned on all of the charges, police watched Roche get back into the vehicle he was pulled over in and drive away.

So, they arrested him again on the same charges as when he was first stopped.
