Watertown -- A Downtown Watertown institution may be forced to move out it's longtime location due to a dispute with the property's owner.

The Crystal Restaurant is being evicted from it's Public Square home after the owners of the eatery couldn't come to terms with landlord Ricky Fraizer on a new lease.

The Crystal, is known as Watertown's oldest restaurant and has been at 87 Public Square for nearly a century.

The owners of the eatery say they are optimistic that a new deal can be reached in the next thirty days.

Otherwise, the restaurant may be forced to move to a new location next door that is owned by the same family that operates the Crystal.
