New York to spend over 750K on half mile addition to trail in Watertown

The state is going to pay over three quarters of a million dollars to add in less than a mile to a trail here in the north country.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced an overall $112 million plan to work on bicycle and pedestrian paths throughout New York. Of that money, $767,000 will go toward extending the Black River Trail in Watertown by a half mile.

Over $1.6 million has also been earmarked for an expansion of the Maple City Rail Trail in Ogdensburg.
