North Side Improvement League deal with developer being 'looked into' by AG's office

-

Watertown (WTNY)-The New York State Attorney General's Office has taken an interest in the recent arrangement by the North Side Improvement League to swap their current building to a developer who in turn will build the organization a new one.

The Watertown office of the AG is looking into the deal per state law that governs property sales involving non profits.

Last month, it was announced that developer Mike Lundy would be refurbishing property on VanDuzze St. for the organization. In turn, the NSIL would turn it's Mill St. property to him for redevelopment.

The AG's office describes the potential probe as a routine one.
