Watertown (WTNY)-The future of the Northside Improvement League is becoming a bit more clear as a potential new location has been announced.

The former Nordic Welding Company property on Van Duzzee St. has been named as the likely new home for the civic organization. The plans were announced at a meeting Thursday night.

Carthage developer Michael Lundy has been working with the League on a new location in return for buying the current location on Mill St. and paying off the organization's debts.

The NSIL has been shut down since the fall as it owes the City Of Watertown back taxes and has an overdue water bill for the Mill St
property. Lundy plans to purchase that building, renovate it, and develop it with a new tenant.
