Watertown man accused of hitting woman, threatening to throw box of nails at girl

A Watertown man allegedly threatened a 10-year-old girl by pretending to throw a five-pound box of nails at her.

Newzjunky.com reports 41-year-old Bryan Roach is accused of violating an order of protection by hitting a woman multiple times in the head at about 1:00 a.m Thursday inside their Bishop Street residence. Then about 20 minutes later, police say Roach picked up the box of nails and acted like he was going to throw it at the little girl.

Roach is now facing several charges, including felony first-degree criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child. He was taken to jail before being arraigned in City Court.
