Watertown (Nathan Lehman WTNY) -- A female member of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is suing several other members, all over alleged topless pictures that were taken of her.
Deputy Krystal Rice filed the legal action Monday, seeking 50 million dollars in damages.
The suit is against Sheriff John Burns, Lt. Michael Peterson, and Detective Steven Cote.
According to the suit, Rice alleges that Cote took topless photos of her that would be used as part of a police investigation into online pedophiles. The alleged photos were taken back in 2006 in a secluded area in the Town of Hounsfield. Since that time however, Rice has asked for the photos, but they are unaccounted for. She also claims that there is a contract that specifically allows her access to the photos when requested.
The county attorney has not commented on the suit.
