Residents of the North Country are keeping the Musto family in their thoughts, as 5-year-old Maddie lost her battle with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma over the night.
Benefits scheduled for Maddie Musto will continue as scheduled.
This Friday, February 10th, a benefit will be held at Walsh’s Pub and Grill, located in Brownville, starting at 8 p.m. until 2 a.m. Donations will include:
· Profits from the jukebox
· The dartboards
· The foosball table
· Touch screen games
· 100% of the tips will go to the family
· 50 cents from each bottle of beer sold from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. will also be donated.
A 5K walk/run, open to the public, will be held on Saturday, March 24th in Watertown, to help raise money and support for the Musto family.
Registration fees and location are to be determined. There will be face-paintings, food and drinks, and a children's run prior to the 5K. T shirts will be available to all participants upon registration, or at the event. Click here for details.
A Brownville resident and consultant for Tastefully Simple will be donating all of her commission from sales to the Musto family. Jeri Lawrence began raising money for the Musto’s on February 4th and will continue to do so throughout the month. A ZUMBA fundraiser to benefit the Musto family will be held on February 25th from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the General Brown High School. All proceeds will be donated to the family. Cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children under the age of 12. A 50/50 raffle will also take place at the event.
Other event fundraisers are still scheduled to continue. More information will be released as it is available.
