Overnight fires have investigators looking for answers

Nathan Lehman (WTNY) - Fire crews were called to County Route 13 last night at around 1 am. Over a dozen departments were called to the scene. Several barns were destroyed.
Jefferson County (WTNY) -- Investigations are underway into what started two separate fires during the overnight in Jefferson County.

One of those fires took place in the City of Watertown. Fire crews were dispatched to the Gabriel Courts apartment complex off of Olmstead Drive last night at around 2 am. The fire heavily damaged one apartment and led to water damage to several others. No injuries were reported, but several families were displaced from their homes.

In the Town of Orleans, a fire at a farm destroys a home. Fire crews were called to County Route 13 last night at around 1 am. Over a dozen departments were called to the scene. Several barns were destroyed. One occupant was treated for smoke inhalation.
