Washington, DC (WSYR-TV) – City officials in Washington, DC confirm that 12 people are dead after shootings at a US Navy yard.

Police have said that a suspect is dead and two more may be at large following the shootings.

Officials told ABC News that the suspect who was killed was in his 50's.

CNN is reporting that police are looking for one white man and one black man in military-style clothing.

Media reports have indicated that 10 are injured.

Law enforcement officials are among those injured, police said.

A MedStar Washington Hospital Center official said at a news conference that three patients were admitted with multiple gunshot wounds and "severe injuries," but the victims are expected to survive.

About 3,000 people work at the Navy facility.
