Syracuse (WWTI) -- After a week long investigation, State Police and the Carthage Police Department, arrested 20 year old Logan Moore and 24 year old Jeremiah Markwick.The two were arrested in the vicinity of the New York Regional Transportation Center, Syracuse, by a detail comprised of Syracuse area law enforcement agencies.
Police say Moore and Markwick were headed south in a vehicle stolen from the Village of Carthage. The subjects were located at the Transportation Center and, after a brief foot pursuit, were taken into custody.
Markwick was committed to the Lewis County PSB on a felony probation warrant from Lewis County Probation.
Moore was arraigned before Village of Carthage Justice Shettleton, on Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th and remanded to the Jefferson County PSB without bail.
Additional charges are pending.
