Randy Travis concert has been cancelled, DPAO schedules Charlie Pride to perform on August 30th

Randy Travis’s Management has cancelled his concert scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena due to health concerns. Randy Travis is still hospitalized following surgery after suffering a stroke earlier this week. The DPAO has booked Country legend Charlie Pride to perform at the Fairgrounds Arena on August 30th

Watertown (WWTI) -- The disabled Persons Action Organization says that Randy Travis’s Management has cancelled his concert scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena due to health concerns.  Randy Travis is still hospitalized following surgery after suffering a stroke earlier this week.

To keep with the theme of “old time” country, the DPAO has booked Country legend Charlie Pride to perform at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena on August 30th at 7pm.

Tickets for DPAO’s Charlie Pride concert are on sale now.

Both Reserved and General Admission Tickets are available for sale by calling DPAO at 315-782-0044.  General Admission Tickets are also on sale at select Kinney Drugs Store locations.

To receive a full refund DPAO is asking all Randy Travis ticket holders to please call 315-782-0044.   For those George Jones and Randy Travis ticket holders who want to attend the Charley Pride concert your ticket will be honored for that show.  

The deadline to receive a refund for the Randy Travis concert is Friday, July 26th, 2013.

Proceeds from the DPAO/TOYOTA/CAR-FRESHNER Summer Concert Series will benefit the programs and services that DPAO provides to over 500 developmentally disabled children, adults and their families in Jefferson and Lewis Counties.
