Watertown (WTNY) - The sentencing phase of Bradley Manning's WikiLeaks trial will begin today at Fort Meade, Maryland.
The 25-year-old former Ft. Drum soldier faces up to 100 years in jail after being convicted yesterday on all but one of the criminal counts against him. Manning was found not guilty of aiding the enemy in the largest breach of classified information in the nation's history. Prosecutors had pushed for a life sentence during his court-martial. The sentencing phase for the former junior intelligence analyst could run for weeks.
