Watertown -- WWTI Vice president/General manager David J. Males announced today that The North Country CW, WWTI 50.2, is now being broadcast over the air and to Direct TV customers in HD Format.
The change from standard definition delivery was made Thursday.
"We are excited to offer Northern New York the CW Network now in this enhanced and higher viewer quality format" stated Males.
“The CW network began offering its network in HD format to smaller markets about a month ago”, added Males...”and we made the investment to make that happen just as soon as we could”.
Males added that the television station is currently working with Time Warner Cable and Dish Network to add The North Country CW in HD on their systems in time for the CW networks new fall season that starts October 2nd.
The North Country CW features hit programming such as Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers, That 70's Show, Til Death, King of Queens and Seinfeld in its week day line up. The CW network is the home of hit prime time programming such as The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, The Hart of Dixie and Supernatural. New network programming this fall includes Beauty and The Beast,Emily Owens M.D. and Arrow.
