Oswego -- Shortly after 8am on Saturday morning a warning was sent to SUNY Oswego students via the NY Alert messaging system:
That message read, "Danger: Oswego heroin may be lethal. One person is dead; two are hospitalized. Please beware! Please call police with any information."
The alert was the result of three suspected heroin overdoses overnight, all involving students.
Police say two of the overdoses happened in the city of Oswego. Both patients are being treated at Oswego Hospital.
A third case was located on the campus. That student did not survive.
Representatives from SUNY Oswego said relatives of the students have been notified
