An Army helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing late Thursday morning after experiencing mechanical problems.
(WTNY) An Army helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing late Thursday morning after experiencing mechanical problems. The incident was reported to emergency dispatch around 11 a.m. yesterday. The chopper landed on a field off of Route 37 in Evans Mills. Two soldiers were on board the chopper. They were not hurt. The chopper needs to be repaired before it can be flown back to Ft. Drum.
