Graco is recalling nearly 2 million car seats.

according to reports, the company is issuing the largest seat recall in American history after giving into demands from U.S. safety regulators.

The recall comes after tests found some of the harness buckles used on Graco infant and toddler car seats sold in the U.S. are difficult to open, which could become dangerous in an emergency situation.

The recall affects several models of infant and toddler car seats.

Graco says there have been no reported injuries related to the seat buckle issue and it is offering free replacement buckles to any consumer who has a toddler car seat or infant car seat not included in the recall.
