"You know you're in the right job when getting up at 4 a.m. is a joy," Spencer said in a statement to the magazine. "This was a simple decision; I love what I do, and I adore the people I work with. I am thrilled to be on this team and look forward to many more years."
Spencer has served as Good Morning America's lifestyle anchor since 2011. Before that, she was a national correspondent for the morning show from 1999 to 2003. Spencer's deal follows the new pact Robin Roberts made last year. However, Josh Elliott, who has less than a month left on his contract with ABC, is reportedly mulling an offer from NBC.
Are you happy that Spencer will be sticking with the show?
