Lisbon man charged with DWI after pickup truck hits School Bus

The school bus was carrying six children and one adult passenger as well as the driver.
Lisbon (WWTI) -- Tuesday evening just before 5:30, State Police responded to a personal injury accident involving a school bus on County Route 28, in the town of Lisbon.
 
Police say, 45-year-old Timothy Dishaw of Lisbon, struck the rear driver side tire of the school bus with his truck. The school bus was carrying six children and one adult passenger as well as the driver.
 
Dishaw was transported to Claxton-Hepburn Hospital where he was treated for a broken ankle.
 
He was charged with DWI, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to keep right.

There were no reported injuries to any of the occupants on the bus. 

This investigation will continue and further charges are pending.
