The fall TV season is taking shape. Networks have ordered dozens of new pilots starring familiar faces like Friends' David Schwimmer, Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter, Southland's Benjamin McKenzie and Grey's Anatomy alum Katherine Heigl, and from proven producers like The Mentalist's Bruno Heller, Sleepy Hollow creators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, How I Met Your Mother bosses Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, 30 Rock's Tina Fey and Arrow's Greg Berlanti.

DRAMA

Agatha
In this character-driven procedural, a former convict-turned-big-city criminologist is brought in to help local police crack a case involving a shocking string of disappearances. The chief detective she's been hired to help is her father, and they haven't spoken in 15 years. The Whole Truth's Tom Donaghy will write and executive-produce. Erik Palladino, Meta Golding, Christian Keyes and Jee Young Han will co-star.

American Crime
The personal lives of the players involved in a racially charged trial are examined as their worlds are turned upside-down. 12 Years a Slave scribe John Ridley will write and executive-produce with Cougar Town's Michael McDonald. Richard Cabral, Johnny Ortiz, Elvis Nolasco, Benito MartinezW. Earl Brown and Caitlin Gerard will co-star.

Clementine
A habitual criminal (Sarah Snook) digs in to the mystery of her origins after she becomes the target of a group of zealots who fear she possesses latent supernatural abilities that she will one day harness for either profound good or monstrous evil. The Manchurian Candidate's Dean Georgaris will write and executive-produce with Grey's Anatomy's Mark Gordon. Mykelti Williamson, David Strathairn, Kevin Alejandro, Edwin Hodge, Kathleen Munroe and Nick Gehlfuss will also star.

Exposed
Based on a Scandinavian format, the drama follows an investigative journalist who will stop at nothing to uncover the truth, including making questionable alliances. Charles Randolph (Love & Other Drugs) will write and executive-produce with Peter Traugott (Samantha Who?) and Rachel Kaplan (Do No Harm). Pedro Pascal, Sandrine HoltBrian F. O'Byrne and Peter DeJersey will co-star.

Forever
Dr. Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd) is New York City's star medical examiner who studies the dead for a reason: He is immortal. With the help of Detective Jo Martinez, the drama will peel back the layers of Henry's long, colorful life through their cases. Chuck's Matt Miller will write and executive-produce with Dan Lin (Terminator Salvation) and Jennifer Gwartz (Veronica Mars). Judd Hirsch will co-star.

How to Get Away With Murder 
A sexy, suspense-driven legal thriller about a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant, mysterious criminal defense professor (Viola Davis) who become entangled in a murder plot that will rock their entire university and change the course of their lives. Grey's Anatomy producer Peter Nowalk will write and executive-produce with Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers' Shondaland. Liza Weil, Billy Brown, Katie Findlay, Matt McGorry, Aja Naomi King, Jack Falahee, Alfred Enoch, Charlie Weber, Liza Weil and Karla Souza will co-star.

Sea of Fire 
Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter will star as an FBI agent brought in to investigate a disappearance, a murder and host of other secrets boiling under the surface of this small town after three teenage girls star in a pornographic film. Based on the Danish series Vuurzee, the drama hails from Off the Map's Jenna Bans. Jack Davenport, Michael TruccoJeffrey Nordling, Lilli Birdsell, Christina Chang, Isabelle Cornish, Zoe Soul, Kevin G. Schmidt, Amanda Detmer and Kier Gilchrist will also star.  

Untitled Richard Lagravanese Project
Set in New York City, the drama tells the story of the love and rivalry between two powerful socialites who play out their obsessive attraction and seduction of each other through their manipulation of others. Beautiful Creatures' Richard Lagravanese will write and executive-produce and Taylor Hackford will direct.

The Visitors
A race against the clock to defeat an unseen alien enemy out to destroy the world using our most precious resource against us. Juno's Soo Hugh will write the project from Steven Spielberg's Amblin TV. Barry Sloane, Milo Ventimiglia, Lily RabeDerek Webster, Kylie Rogers, Catalina Denis and Kyle Harrison Breitkopf will star.

Warriors
Inspired by the state-of-the-art Walter Reed Military Medical Center, the project will follow the best and brightest active-duty military doctors and nurses as they practice trailblazing medicine. Party of Five's Chris Keyser will write and executive-produce. Morena Baccarin, Don HanyCourtney B. Vance, Justina Machado, Greg GrunbergSteve Kazee, Hampton Fluker, Abbie Cobb and Eloise Mumford will star.

COMEDY

An American Education
In this remake of British comedy Bad Education, British transplant Alfie Wickers (Jack Whitehall), an unorthodox teacher, loves his students, but his naïve enthusiasm and unconventional methods put him at odds with the test-obsessed administrators. Whitehall will also executive-produce with King of the Hill's Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory. Rosie Perez, Brittany Snow, David Mares, Devin Ratray, Phil Morris, Dalpre Grayer and Lorenzo Henrie will also star.

Bambi Cottages
An overworked father who dreams of a better life for his family decides to uproot them from the city and move to New Hampshire where they open a group of low-rent tourist cottages. Brian Gallivan (Are You There, Chelsea?) will write and executive-produce with Friends with Benefits' Will Gluck. Molly Shannon will co-star.

Damaged Goods
A single-camera comedy about the sexual politics that have changed between men and women in the post-feminist era. Awkward creator Lauren Iungerich will write and executive-produce. Steve Talley, Justin Hartley and Ben Lawson will star.

Far East Orlando
A '90s-set single-camera comedy about a hip-hop-loving Asian kid growing up in suburban Orlando, being raised by an immigrant father (Randall Park) obsessed with all things American and an immigrant mother (Constance Wu) often bewildered by white culture. Apartment 23 creator Nahnatchka Khan will write and executive-produce with New Girl's Jake Kasdan.

Galavant
Handsome Prince Galavant (Joshua Sasse) is on a quest for revenge against the king (Psych's Timothy Omundson) who stole his one true love (Mallory Jansen) in this fairy-tale musical. Dan Fogelman will write and executive-produce with Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken writing the music. Vinnie Jones, Karen David and Luke Youngblood will also star.

Irreversible
Andy (Friends alum David Schwimmer) and Sarah (Jessica Knappett), an eccentric, self-absorbed couple, bring many of their trials and tribulations upon themselves. Based on an Israeli series. Schwimmer will executive-produce with Rescue Me's Peter Tolan. Iris Bahr will also star.

My Thoughts Exactly
This romantic comedy exposes the unfiltered inner monologues of young couple Peter (Jake McDorman) and Dana (Analeigh Tipton) as they embark on a new relationship. Spin City's Jeff Lowell will write and executive-produce with Samantha Who's Peter Traugott. Kurt Fuller, Jade Catta-Preta, Chloe Wepper and Nicolas Wright will also star.

Saint Francis
A blue-collar, no-nonsense, Long Island cop and family man (Michael Imperioli) confronts the modern, liberal world when his 29-year-old sister gets pregnant out of wedlock. Paget Brewster will play Imperioli's age-obsessed wife. Man Up! creator Chris Moynihan will write and executive-produce. Henry Simmons will also star.

Selfie
A self-obsessed, twentysomething woman (Karen Gillan) is the subject of a viral video made after a humiliating public breakup. When the video makes her an Internet celebrity for all the wrong reasons, she hires a marketing expert to help restore her image. Suburgatory creator Emily Kapnek will write and executive-produce the project inspired by My Fair Lady. David Harewood (Homeland), Tim Peper, Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Allyn Rachel will also star.

Untitled Anthony Anderson comedy
An upper-middle-class black man (Anthony Anderson) struggles to raise his children with a sense of cultural identity despite constant contradictions and obstacles coming from his liberal wife, old-school father (Laurence Fishburne) and his assimilated, color-blind kids. Anderson and Fishburne will executive-produce with writer Kenya Barris (Are We There Yet?) and The Daily Show's Larry Wilmore. Tracee Ellis Ross and Yara Shahidi will co-star.

Untitled Kevin Hart Project
Based on Kevin Hart's life and stand-up, this comedy asks the question: Can a man (Romany Malco) and woman ever truly be friends... after they're divorced? Hart will executive-produce the pilot alongside Neil Goldman and Garrett Donavan, best known for their work on Community. Amber Stevens will co-star.

The Winklers
In this multi-camera sitcom, an emotionally reserved construction worker's life is changed when he moves in with his oversharing in-laws. Max Winker will executive-produce, while his dad, Henry Winkler, will star. Domenick Lombardozzi and Eva Amurri Martino will co-star.
