Mutt Monday: Polly

Mutt Monday

Polly is a five year old female with an interesting history.

She, like all of our animals, has been temperament tested according to the protocol that Cornell University set up for our staff.

She tested as “green”.

We have three adoptable levels, yellow, green and blue with blue being the highest degree of temperament suitability for adoption.

Green is what you would think of as a pretty typical house cat!

Polly was adopted once from the shelter but the household she came from was an adult household and the one she was adopted to was with children.

The occasional chaos that we associate with a family household did not work out for Polly.

She was “freaked out” by the noise and confusion.

So Polly is back with us looking for a more adult household with a greater degree of calm.

Since Polly is over five we would be happy to place her in a senior for senior situation with the adoption fee reduced to half of our usual price, or $40 if you are over the age of 50.

Consider giving Polly the nurturing and love she deserves!

Remember our Valentine Bark and Wine Auction is fast upon us.

We will be at the Hilton Garden Inn again this year on Saturday, February 6th.
