FDA recall of fresh nectarine’s hits New York

The Food and Drug Administration announced a recall of peaches, nectarines, and plums sold in multiple states including New York on Thursday.

According to the FDA’s press release, Jac. Vandenberg, Inc. of Yonkers, New York is recalling over 1,700 peaches, over 1,200 nectarines and over 300 plums due to concern of Listeria Monocytogenes contamination. 

Fairway Market and Walmart is where the fruit is sold in the state of New york.
