Former President George H.W. Bush was hospitalized after falling at his summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine, on Wednesday and breaking a bone in his neck, The Associated Press reports.

Bush, 91, was in stable condition as of early Thursday and is expected to make a full recovery, but will wear a neck brace temporarily, according to his spokesperson, Jim McGrath.

The 41st President of the United States has a form of Parkinson’s disease and uses a wheelchair because he is unable to walk on his own. In December, he was hospitalized for shortness of breath. However, he celebrated his 90th birthday in June of last year with a tandem parachute jump.
