Can’t make it to NYC to see the 911 memorial, well its coming to you. Tunnel to Towers Foundation, “We must never forget 911” mobile exhibit is coming to the Made in New York Festival. The mobile exhibit is traveling across the country so that no one ever forgets the events of 911. The high tech 53’ trailer unfolds to a 1,100 square foot traveling museum of artifacts that include actual steel beams from the towers, documentary video and recordings of first responder radio transmissions as well as proving guided tours by FDNY firefighters.

The exhibit will be on its way to Sackets Harbor the night before the festival and is expected to arrive in Watertown late Saturday morning on the fourth. A large motorcade will assemble at BOCES on NYS Route 3 to meet the truck and exhibit. The motorcade will then provide an escort for the exhibit to Madison Barracks where it will be on display throughout the day long event. The motorcade will be made up of over 200 motorcycles from the NNY American Legion Riders, the Combat Veterans Motorcycle club, the Red Knights motorcycle club from across the state along with various first responder vehicles. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s department working with the City of Watertown PD and Sackets Harbor PD will be providing traffic control and will participate in the motorcade.

The exhibit’s appearance is made possible by funding from All American Real Estate NNY, The Town of Hounsfield and NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets Taste NY.
