A couple of bizarre incidents in Potsdam over the weekend.

Police arrested a woman driving drunk on the railroad tracks there on Friday night.

And before that happened, Friday morning, just after 9 a.m., police say a man crashed into a utility pole off of Lawrence Ave Friday morning.

It didn’t end there, though as the accident actually caused a grass fire and knocked out power for over 1,500 residents in Potsdam.

The driver was able to get his car back on the road and take off.

As a result, authorities are on the lookout for a red, two-door vehicle with Georgia plates.
