Arrests made for burglaries earlier this week

Watertown City Police have arrested two people on burglary counts related to businesses in the City of Watertown that occurred earlier this week.

Twenty two year old Randy Harten who is homeless and 23 year old Rebeka Caplicki of Lowville are both alleged to have burglarized Frosty’s on Bradley St., Freeway Insurance on Arsenal St., and a home at 959 Morrison St.

The alleged incidents occurring during the overnight August 17.

Surveillance footage inside of Frosty’s helped police identify the pair.

Both were charged with burglary.

Police at this time have not linked the two to a series of burglaries that occurred on State St and downtown Watertown that also occurred earlier this week.

Harten was ordered held on $20,000 cash bail. Caplicki on $5000 cash bail.
