Clarkson University School of Business Dean Visits China for Invited Lecture on Entrepreneurship

Clarkson University Dean of the School of Business Dayle M. Smith introduced a new way of looking at entrepreneurship and social enterprise during her visit to Guangzhou, China, last month.

 

At the Lincoln Hall U.S. consulate office, Smith discussed the concept of benefit corporations and how social innovation is changing the world.

 

She took the audience on a journey through the rise and excitement of entrepreneurial initiative, social innovation and how the values of a younger generation have resulted in a social movement around business and doing good in the world.

 

Smith shared with the audience stories of young entrepreneurs and leaders in companies who have dedicated themselves to improving the global community.
