About $25 million in federal funding will be doled out to help fight the opioid epidemic in New York.

The majority of the money will go to 16 counties seen as “high-need.” That list includes Jefferson County, where Credo is set to see just over $1 million.
Governor Andrew Cuomo announced says the money will go toward adding as well as enhancing “treatment services for people struggling” with addiction.
