Two separate duplexes in the city of Watertown were destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon.
The blaze initially broke out at 218 South Indiana Avenue at about 2:30 in the afternoon.
Officials told 7 News, the fire spread to the attic and then to a neighboring complex.
People were home inside both two-family houses at the time, but no injuries were reported.
Once secured, the big concern for fire crews became the potential for asbestos to be burning inside the structures.
The cause of blaze remains under investigation.
