Gov. Cuomo defends controversial commutation

Local News

Governor Andrew Cuomo is defending his commutation of the prison sentence for a getaway driver in a deadly armored car robbery.

Sixty-seven-year-old Judith Clark now has a chance at parole, after the 1981 crime that left a Brink’s guard and two Nyack cops dead in Rockland County.

Cuomo met with Clark in prison last year.

He says a relative of a murdered police officer supports Clark’s parole.
