Jefferson Community College (JCC) is bringing enrollment services to Lewis County! Instant Admit and Financial Aid Night will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Lewis County Education Center from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Prospective students from Lewis County will complete the college application, get accepted on the spot, apply for financial aid and schedule an appointment to register for fall classes. New student registration for fall semester classes opens May 22. With advance preparation, students are more likely to get the course and selection they want!
Students planning to attend instant admit and financial aid night should bring the following:
- High school graduation verification (copy of their transcript, GED or diploma).
- A copy of their (and their parent’s, if applicable) 2017 W-2’s and tax forms.
Credit-bearing courses are offered on JCC’s campus in Watertown, online and on Fort Drum. Fall semester classes begin August 26, 2019. Applying to JCC is free and 82% of JCC students receive some form of financial aid to help off-set the cost of college.
Degree seeking students who want to get a head start on fall semester are welcome to take summer classes. Early session (4-week) classes and full summer session (8-week) classes begin June 3, 2019. Late session (4-week) classes begin July 8, 2019. Registration is open. A few credit bearing English courses will be offered at the Lewis County Education Center this summer. Students interested in taking a summer credit bearing course at the Lewis County Education Center and applying for financial aid should bring a copy of their (and their parent’s, if applicable) 2016 W-2’s and tax forms to instant admit and financial aid night.
