‘Instant Family’ movie free viewing to be held in honor of Foster Care Awareness Month

Potsdam: A free viewing of the recent hit comedy movie, “Instant Family,” will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 10:00 am at the Roxy Theater, 20 Main Street, Potsdam New York. The event honors annual Foster Care Awareness Month, and is sponsored by Fostering Futures of St. Lawrence County, an affiliate program of the Children’s Home of Jefferson County. A Foster Parenting Informational Session will follow the movie. Admission is free. The theater’s concession stand will also be open for individual purchases.

This event is designed to extend attendees the opportunity to enjoy great, family entertainment, while also informing them about what’s involved in becoming a Foster Family. Anyone interested in learning more about Foster Parenting, Adoption, Respite Services and the Fostering Futures Program is welcome and encouraged to attend. The session will also offer opportunities to ask questions and speak with Fostering Futures’ staff. Fostering Futures offers training classes in Canton, Massena and Malone.
