How would you like to Zumba for a good cause? Kinney Drugs, a leading community pharmacy in New York and Vermont, is inviting local residents to attend its Zumbathon on Saturday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m. to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Samaritan.

The Zumbathon will take place at the Bruce M. Wright Memorial Conference Center on Faichney Drive in Watertown. A $10 donation is required to attend and space is limited. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Kinney Drugs locations in Watertown and Adams. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Samaritan.

Attendees can participate in raffles and drawings throughout the day. Prizes include Kinney Drugs gift cards, water bottles, phone chargers, earbuds and more.

“We are so grateful for our partnership with Kinney Drugs and the Kinney Drugs Foundation for their dedication to improving the health and well-being of local children through their annual 8-week fundraising campaign that takes place in stores,” said Morgan Bocciolatt, Development Manager at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Samaritan Medical Center. “We are excited about the first ever Zumbathon as part of this fundraising campaign and encourage community members to join in on Kinney Drugs’ effort to make miracles happen for local children.”

In addition, in celebration of the Bruce M. Wright Memorial Conference Center’s soft-opening, the Feed Our Vets program is encouraging attendees to bring a non-perishable food item to the event.

If you cannot attend the Zumbathon but are interested in supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Samaritan, stop by your local Kinney Drugs to donate.
