On Tuesday, February 23, 2016, the Greater Watertown North County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors appointed Kylie S. Peck, Clayton, as the Chamber’s president and chief executive officer (CEO). Peck joined the Chamber in 2011 and has served as membership development director, as well as outreach and development director. Since July 2015, Peck has served as interim president and CEO.
“During her tenure with the Chamber and in particular as interim president/CEO, Kylie has provided the Chamber staff and Board of Directors with a clear vision and strong leadership,” said Jill L. Parker, chair of the Board of Directors. “With Kylie’s knowledge of the North Country community and administrative experience, the Board of Directors looks forward to a bright future assisting our members and providing a strong voice for the business community.”
As outreach and development director, Peck has increased the Chamber’s membership base and expanded business-to-business oriented programs, while providing marketing, budgetary and administrative program oversight. Peck has more than 10 years of marketing and communications experience and currently serves as the Chamber’s liaison with government officials and business leaders.
Peck is a member of the Northern New York Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and serves on the planning committees for Operation Yellow Ribbon, GPS for Success, Snowtown USA and last year’s successful FDRLO-Fort Drum Rally. She is a graduate of the Jefferson Leadership Institute.
A North Country native, Kylie is a graduate of Thousand Islands Central School. She attended Monroe Community College before transferring to Rochester Institute of Technology where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in new media publishing with a concentration in management. Peck resides in Clayton with her husband, James, and their two sons.
