Lake Ontario may not be done rising.
Syracuse.com reports that while the lake has stayed at about the same level for the past week, rain starting today could change it. Water is being let into the Saint Lawrence River faster than any point in the past 20 years.
Lake water levels aren’t expected to peak until the middle of next month.
And to help in the recovery process, help is once again on hand.
After being in Jefferson County yesterday, state officials once again move to St. Lawrence County today.
They will be at the Dobisky Center in Ogdensburg from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. to help residents dealing with flooding along the St. Lawrence River.Anyone wanting to file insurance claims, or anyone with questions about how to get help for your property encouraged to show up.
