The 90 proposals for Watertown’s $10 million state grant have been whittled down to just 31.
According to the Watertown Daily Times, a Local Planning Committee in charge of the city’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative plans to hold another public meeting to discuss the finalists. Recently, officials scraped an idea of using some of the money to overhaul Public Square.
The remaining proposals, however, will be featured in the meeting set for Wednesday afternoon–3:00 to 7:00–inside the Empsall Building. The city has until March 1 to submit the final plans to the state for approval.
