WATERTOWN, NY – NOVEMBER 6, 2018: The Women’s Business Center of NYS and the North Country PTAC proudly present a highly informative seminar for small to medium-sized businesses and nonprofits where they will learn Email Marketing. “Email Marketing 101” is coming up on November 13th and will be presented in both Watertown and Lowville, NY.
Email Marketing produces the highest return-on-investment for time and dollars invested by businesses and organizations. “Email Marketing 101” will teach participants marketing strategy, how to design a template and how to build and manage a contact list in order to effectively communicate with leads, prospects, customers and volunteers. There will also be a live, side-by-side comparison of two leading email platforms: Constant Contact and MailChimp.
“Email Marketing 101” will take place in Watertown on November 13th at the Fairfield Inn and Suites from 9am to noon. The session will be repeated the same day in Lowville at the Lewis County Chamber of Commerce from 3pm til 6pm. Marketing a new or established business can seem like a daunting task to many owners and managers, but it’s an important part of any successful business strategy. Participants of “Email Marketing 101” seminars will learn how to spend a few hours per month and effectively advertise a product or service to a highly-targeted local or regional audience. They will discover how to use free modern tools to connect with a qualified audience that already needs their product or service; gain valuable insight into lead development and learn how to turn a prospect into a follower, followers into customers, and customers into raving fans.
All are welcome. Men, women, students, veterans, disabled-persons and retirees are all welcome to attend training sessions presented by the Women’s Business Center and partner agencies.
Following “Email Marketing 101” is two sessions focused on Facebook Marketing.
- November 27th – Facebook for Business – Participants will learn how to start, optimize and manage a Facebook Page for your business, organization or group. Facebook continues to provide a consistently strong return on investment for marketing businesses of all sizes. For new and small businesses, Facebook can provide an inexpensive entry into advertising. ($25)
- December 11th – Facebook Ads Manager – Participants will learn to use the same robust marketing tool that the agencies use by applying a budget to effectively advertise to a highly-qualified audience of Facebook Users. This class is recommended for those ready to budget $150 – $300 per month in Facebook advertising costs. ($25)
All seminars are presented in collaboration between the Women’s Business Center of NYS and North Country PTAC, a program supported by the Greater Watertown Chamber of Commerce. In Lowville, sessions are hosted and supported by the Lewis County Chamber of Commerce and Lewis County
