Local businessman loses livelihood after Bull Tavern demolished

Bull Tavern West Main St

All of West Main Street in the City of Watertown is open after a section of it was closed for most of last week.

While traffic is moving along, a local businessman has lost his livelihood after it was torn down due to safety concerns.

The building that housed the Bull Tavern was brought down Friday.

City inspectors determined that the building was not safe after a wind storm blew it’s roof off a week ago.

Brian Croft will be billed the estimated $188,000 costs for the demolition.

Some local folks have put together a Go Fund Me webpage to help with some of the costs.
