Madison Barracks in Sackets Harbor will host the 5th annual “Made in New York” Festival, Saturday July 4, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The organizers of the festival are proud to announce that the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets will partner in this year’s festival event through its Taste NY initiative. The one-day festival event is also made possible in part by the Town of Hounsfield and All American Real Estate NNY LLC.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to be part of this statewide initiative,” said Donna White Executive Director for Meals on Wheels of Greater Watertown. “We have all worked hard building this festival event from scratch and now to join the exciting schedule of Taste NY events is truly an honor.”
Taste NY events promote New York’s top-notch agricultural products, including produce, cheese, yogurt, maple products and beer, wine, cider and spirits.
This year’s Made in New York festival event will showcase nearly 100 New York State agricultural, farm and home-based businesses. This year’s event will also include live entertainment, a large children’s play area, and a free package check center.
Advance tickets will go on sale for this year’s Made in New York festival over the Memorial Day weekend at Kinney Drugs and Nice & Easy Stores. Tickets are $10.00 in advance and $15.00 at the gate. Active duty military, retired military and veterans will have the discounted ticket price of $10.00 at the gate.
