Man accused of threatening two others with a knife at the mall

A Jefferson County man is accused of attempting to stab a couple of people with a knife at a store in the Salmon Run Mall.

Police say 27-year-old Corey Smith pulled the pocket knife during a confrontation at Burlington Coat Factory back on May 11.

Smith has been charged with first and second-degree menacing along with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

After being arraigned in Watertown Town Court, Smith was taken to jail and held without bail.
