Missing mother now in police custody

The Watertown mother being sought by police after allegedly taking her seven year old daughter in a custodial interference case is in police custody. Thirty two year old Jessica Barker turned herself into the Jefferson County Probation Office Tuesday afternoon. She is now charged with first degree custodial interference and second degree criminal contempt. Seven year old Jeanelle Barker was left with a family member by Jessica Tuesday, hours after the Watertown Police Department asked for the public’s help in finding the two. She was arraigned in city court and ordered held on $1000 bail.
